I often joke with my husband about how Ella is our little Master of Ceremonies.  She is always the life of the party, bossing people around, getting people involved in the fun.  Even as a baby in every picture, Ella looks like she is the "party girl" as my sister puts it.  This weekend was no exception.  While on our annual Christmas tree hunt, she led the troops (our family) around to find the perfect tree.

This month, like most of us, we are busy!  Each weekend I think we have a Christmas event to attend.  So each week you'll get a glimpse into our Christmas family traditions and celebrate with us - a Lulu Christmas!  I hope you're inspired to begin some new traditions in your family.

Each year, the day after Thanksgiving we go our and cut down our tree.  It's a tradition I had in my family growing up and I always looked forward to it.  When I got married and had the nuggets I knew I wanted to continue it in my new family.  It's really a perfect weekend to start the festivities.  Since it's a long weekend it's plenty of time to get the tree, decorate it, and the house.  Stay tuned for more Christmas traditions this month.

Thank you so much for reading.  Have a wonderful Tuesday!

  14. I love this post, Lulu! Not only your look which I love from head to toe (fabulous and classy MK bag!) but also learning about your family traditions. Wonderful photos.
Here in Germany we traditionally don't put up and decorate our Christmas trees before Christmas Eve.
