Over the weekend the Mr. and I took some time to ourselves, had dinner, and stayed overnight in the city. February is a special month as we celebrate Valentine's Day of course, but it's also our anniversary (9 years!), and my birthday. Since we're going to be away this weekend, we decided on a little in city get away (check out my dinner outfit HERE).
On the way home we decided to take a more scenic route on Kelly Drive beside the Schuylkill River which made for a pretty backdrop to these photos don't you think? I've been on a flare jean kick lately. I love the easy, bohemian vibe to these jeans. They make your legs look 10 feet long and I'm only 5'1"! Another favorite and trend this year is the wrap. There are countless styles, materials, and all at different price points. Some of my favorites are HERE, (most under $40) and these wraps are amazing!
Today is my anniversary :) 9 years strong! See a few pictures of our special day HERE. 9 years ago, amidst 22" of snow, I married the love of my life. We've been through many ups and downs, struggles and adventures, but year after year, my love grows deeper. We are bonded by our children, our love, and our Lord. Marriage is 'not' easy. It's a growing experience, a constant learning process. It's worth the effort and the investment.
