Beautiful Skin

-------PRODUCT DETAILS-------

If I wrote a letter to my younger self I would share a lot of things.  I'm not going to get into everything, that would take WAY too much time.  But on the subject of beauty?  Take care.  Take care of your skin.  Cleanse, exfoliate, moisture, sunscreen.  My mother (through no fault of her own), didn't really teach me about taking care of your skin.  It wasn't really 'the thing'.

The products I'm sharing with you today are both effective and affordable.  You won't find me using any $100 creams.  Trust me, if I could I would.  But I there are wonderful products out there (even recommended by my dermatologist) without breaking the bank.

I've been using RoC products (highly recommended by my dermatologist) for several years now I am so pleased with the results and my skin.  More recently I've added the Murad Essential C products because of the vitamin C.  What does vitamin C do for your skin?  Vitamin C is an antioxidant that slows the rate of free radical damage.  Free radical damage causes dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles.  Basically it's bad news for your skin (you can read more about vitamin C and the benefits for your skin HERE).  Just within the last few months I've started using Neutrogena naturals make up remover.  I LOVE them.  I really use it to remove my mascara as I started to notice I was losing a lot of my eye lashes.  The naturals are super gentle yet effective.  I couldn't share this post without giving props to my Clarisonic.  This is a game changer in cleansing, polishing, and smoothing your face.  Want to revitalize your face?  Buy a Clarisonic.  You will not be sorry.

One thing I'm still on the hunt for?  A good serum.  I tried the RoC serum, it was ok, but wondering if there is something better out there for a little more money.  So if you have any recommendations I would love it!

My nighttime products:

1. Neutrogena make up remover - I use this really to remove my mascara.  Fun tip: it also works great to clean up my bathroom sink between cleanings!

2. Murad Essential C Cleanser - I was my face 2x.  Once with my hands, then again with my Clarisonic.  I use a large pea size of the cleanser each time.

3. RoC Mulit-Correxion, 5 in 1 Restoring Night Cream

4. RoC Retinol Correxion eye cream

My daytime products:

1. Cetaphil Cleanser

2. Daily moisturizer - combo of RoC Multi-Correxion 5 in 1 Daily Moisturizer & Murad Essential C Environmental Shield day cream

3. Philosophy hope in a tube eye cream

  2. I always love reading about skin care! I recently got a Clarisonic & LOVE it! When I purchased my Clarisonic it came with a bunch of deluxe size samples, one of which was Algenist Advanced Anti-Aging Repairing Oil which is meant to be used as a serum & I definitely recommend it.

  3. These are all great products! I've used Murad products in the past and really like them. I need to start using them again. You have such gorgeous skin so I want to basically do whatever your skin care routine is :)
