Happy Memorial Day! I know we're all busy and having fun celebrating the unofficial start to the summer, but I'm planning on spending some time in prayer. I'm praying and thanking God for the men and women who serve or have served our country. Not just these men and women but their families who spend many days, months, and years without their loved ones. To you who serve and your family, I thank you SO VERY much! We are truly blessed in country. I think we forget just how much we have and I don't just mean the material things. We are blessed to be in the land of the free. I've spent the last week in much prayer for our country and leaders. It was wonderful to wrap up this time of prayer with Memorial Day. How fitting!
Today I'm about stripes (and wind!!!). It was so windy when we were trying to shoot this outfit. So sorry about the crazy hair :). It's so amazing, dear Lulu, materialism is a constant on my head and writings - today as well. I think we all take for granted the things that others did, like the brave soldiers that gave their lives for the sake of their families and country. Very well written, you really did it well!
