I thought a while before buying these pumps. I'm a practical gal and I kept thinking... will I actually wear these? But then I got a discount, plus another birthday discount so to the store I went and purchased my pumps. After getting them home I thought - I can turn these into a fun pair of pumps with little bows! So I'm calling these my two way, two tonetastic pumps (I'm so clever no?).
So here's the after...
Bows are everywhere this season. And what's better than being able to put a bow on and then take it off too! Below are some simple steps I take to make a perfect bow. Confession, the left bow looks better than the right! I was sort of in a hurry taking these snaps and the right bow was not cooperating with me.
Step 1: I took off the send buckle, inserted the ribbon and tied it once.
Step 2: Make a loop and then with your other hand draw the ribbon BEHIND the loop instead of in front. This is the key in making a perfect bow.
Step 3: Pull the ribbon you looped behind through to make a bow and pull it taught.
Step 4: Cut the ends diagonally for an elegant look. Use a good sharp scissor. To keep the ends from fraying I use Fray Check which you can find at most fabric stores.
There you have it! My two way, two tonetastic pumps! These are Tahari via DSW.
This is a quick post today. I was a little behind and had a girls night out! Hope you're having a great week, tomorrow's Friday!
What a super cute and easy idea! I love it!
