I had all intentions of taking these snapshots in a different location.  Because my life is quite busy; mommyhood, working, blogging, house chores (notice I put house chores last...), the backdrop for my pictures is usually in the same few spots.  I would love to go to different locations, but time is not a luxury for me!  However, I have been thinking that the entrance to our neighborhood is quite lovely - especially this spring.  It's not too far away, let's take some snaps there!?  But...  on the days when we're doing the photoshoots, I'm kinda crazy.  And well... you guessed it, I forgot.  Bummer... next time!  If you're wondering why I STILL have an evergreen wreath on my door you can read about it here!

Mama Said Monday
Drinking It In

Everyone will always tell you when you have kids (from people who have older children) enjoy this time!  Well, I try.  Now my nuggets are pretty good kids, well behaved, fun, and they really get along great.  But on the days when Jack is whining and Ella needs 10 activities a day to keep her busy, I'd really like to pull my hair out.  I think this is why God designed children to go to bed early.  Not just for parents to get a break, but for you to be able to see your sleeping children and melt.  Every night I check on my kids and love to see their sleeping, peaceful faces.  I drink it in.

    This outfit is so pretty! I've been thinking of styling a similar outfit with my blush color jeans. Only the weather is 90+ here so I opted for shorts instead of pants :) Love your makeup too!

    True, enjoy the time but every age has something special and I enjoy my children at their ages now (soon 21 and 19) - they are adults and we are mother and son/daughter but also friends and a team!
