Looking put together can be fairly simple keeping a few things in mind.  Start by having a great & colorful piece of clothing (green pants) and some beautiful jewelry (earrings & bracelet).  My jewelry is pulled together here by the color blue.  Blue in my earrings and blue in my bracelet.  Everything else is kept gold, because I didn't want to add too many colors.  Blue & green is one of my favorite color combos (read more on how to mix and match color combos).  Wearing a structure piece (blazer) can also pull together an outfit in a snap.  Add in some other details like a fabulous bag and you're all set!

Learning from your Mistakes

Parenting is a hard job.  No one really can tell you that and you fully understand until you have children.  My "about me" little blurb on my home page says that I'm perfectly imperfect.  Which is SO true.  I make lots of mistakes all the time in life, in being a wife, in being a mom.  One thing I never want to do is not own up to them, say I'm sorry and ask for forgiveness.  Because no one likes it when you just brush it aside and try to "kill them with kindness".  Just say you're sorry, it's so much better.  When I make mistakes with my kids (and it happens on a daily basis), I say I'm sorry.  I want them to see that everyone makes mistakes and that the best thing to do is to apologize.
