This cornbread is melt in your mouth delicious. It's actually a recipe from a hotel in Scottsdale, AZ my family and I used to stay when we'd vacation there. I hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients:
- 1 C butter
- 3/4 C sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 C cream-style corn
- 1/2 C Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
- 1 C flour
- 1 C yellow corn meal
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs slowly, one at a time. Add remainder of ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into a well-buttered 9" square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour.

This is my third pair of Vineyard Vines sandals. They are seriously comfortable. Of course to me there is a time and place for "flip flops", the beach and running errands. What is fabulous about these is they actually mold to your foot! Can your feet say, "ahhhh"? Yes!
