This hummus is a favorite of my friends. Every time we go to a function they ask me to bring "THE" hummus. So here's the recipe folks... The beans (garbanzo beans) are out! And you know I like simple and easy, and it is! I'm loving this serving dish for playing hostess!
Hummus Ingredients:
- 2 small cans of garbanzo beans
- 2 large glaric cloves
- 1/4 c olive oil (may need more depending on how you like the consistency)
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- salt (nothing better in this hummus than Jane's salt) to taste
- fresh ground pepper to taste
Drain garbanzo beans and pour into a food processor. Add garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice, salt & pepper. Pulse at first until incorporated. Place food processor "on" and run until smooth. You may need to add more olive oil if it's too thick.
Pita chips:
- small pita bread
- olive oil
- salt (Jane's again - this is SO a Lulu's Love)
- pepper
Cut the pita bread into 8 triangles. Drizzle each side with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toast in the oven (being careful not to burn).
Serve warm with the pita. It's perfection!
OH yes, I made the purchase. You saw me wear this J.Crew fan necklace in my Style Session... I bought it! Love it!
You know you always find something crazy on my Love List. But I do seriously love these vitamins. My friend and Health Coach recommended them. After many trials these work wonderfully. Since they are food based, you can take them on an empty stomach without getting that dreaded nauseous feeling. I use to forget to take my vitamin ALL the time because I needed to eat breakfast with them (which I rarely do... I know.... bad Lulu). Now I can take my vitamin before I even have my morning coffee. Voila!
Boden's Sixties Heel in leopard. Ahhh... so pretty. The heel heigh is great (3"), so I can wear them to work (because I do A LOT of walking) without my feet killing me at the end of the day. And... they are a wonderful price point!
RoC cream. Since my dermatologist highly recommended it, I've become a fan. Ladies, if you're in your 20's get on the anti-wrinkle now!
Love Lists will be heading to Friday's next week, stay tuned. Would love to hear what's your love list!
