I feel a little like rainbow sorbet in this outfit.  When you were a kid wasn't it fun to have rainbow sorbet?  Since I have a lot of color and sparkle I went for a cazh denim jacket and nude heels.

My weekend was fantastic.  I was busy and holed up in my office blogging, learning, and enjoying some quiet time.  My wonderful hubs took great care of the nuggets!  An extra special thank you to my mother-in-law for hosting them this weekend.

Being Persistent

My son Jack is a sweet boy.  He's smart, funny, and sensitive.  As the nuggets have gotten older I'm really getting to know their personalities.  Jack is good at a lot of things.  But when the going gets tough he tends to give up.  Now the boy is just going to turn 5 soon, so he has a lot to learn.  One thing I want him to learn is perseverance and persistence.  Anyone can be smart.  But you have to be persistent to be successful.

    Love this look, so classic and the colours are soft & pretty.

    You are so right about being persistent. My daughter (who is close in age to your son) tends to say I can't do it alot. Looking for Mommy to help her. I am trying to get her to at least try and see that she can do it herself!

    All of the brightness and sparkle of this outfit is perfect for a Monday! You look fantastic! And persistence is a great virtue; on the other end of the spectrum is my peanut who is the more persistent/stubborn child EVER. Maybe there is a happy medium ;)
