#Beauty Buzz & Nail Art or Not?

Manicures are not just manicures anymore.  It has become nail art and rightfully so.  You will find anything from flowers, to plaid, to ombre.  Nothing is too out of this world.  Although I do think it's lovely and some nail art is beautiful, it's not for me.  I'm a Plain Jane.  I like it classic and simple.

I've included my favorite nail colors below.  Last year I did a post on an at home manicure, my tips and tricks, including the best products.  Check it out HERE!

1.  Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ - a great burgundy red
2.  Kiss on the Chic - pretty pink.  Not too pinky, not to white-pink
3.  Red My Fortune Cookie - a perfect red
4.  We'll Always Have Paris - beautiful dark purple

Read my blog and you'll probably see me wearing one of these colors!  Stop by and link up with #BeautyBuzz with Janise @ Mama in Heels!

Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

  1. I'm right there with you! I love the simple, classic look better than nail art. I love mixing it up with fun colors and maybe an accent nail but nail art is almost too much sometimes! Red My Fortune Cookie is one of my fav colors!! :)

  2. Usually I have light rosé nails, although I love red and darker colours for special occasions.
Not a friend of any strange colours like green, blue or black and nail art is certainly not for me.
I prefer a classic style and love Essie.

  3. Normally I'm a solid color girl. The nail art is nice, but a little too blingy for me.

  4. I'm the same...love classic and simple colors. Maybe one day I will step out of my comfort zone and try the nail art thing. Have a great week Lulu!

  5. I prefer solid colors or glitters as opposed to nail art! I do like nail art when it's really simple though! Those flowers are beautiful but I'm not sure I could pull them off!
