It's Simple - Style Tips

People often ask me how I look put-together.  I'm usually dressed quite simply and my formula is pretty easy.  I'm not a rocket scientist after all!  Denim is a go-to for me and I'm wearing some form of it almost daily, whether it's jeans, cropped pants, or shorts.  One basic key to looking good and put-together is balance.  Whether it's jewely, or the flow of your clothes, be balanced.  For example, in this outfit I'm wearing skinny jeans and a more flowy top.  If I were to wear more flowy pants, a fitted top would be best (see HERE).  With jewelry, my limit is 6-8 pieces, including a watch and earrings.  Typically my bracelet(s) go on the same wrist as my watch and then I love a good statement ring on the opposite hand.  This is just my preference and everyone has their own touch.

This oufit that I've chosen here is truly a staple style.  A good chambray shirt (in my humble opinion) is an essential wardrobe piece (I have 4).  It can be worn in the winter or spring as a good layering shirt or by itself here.  It goes with just about everything.  My favorite thing to pair with it are white jeans (also a wardrobe staple).  The style of jeans is completely up to the body type.  If you're not sure, bootcut looks great on all body types.
