Martha's Vineyard

Ella's dress: Target  |  headband: Crewcuts  |  Jack's oufit: Boden  |  Mr's outfit: Vineyard Vines  |  My dress: Urban Outfitters

Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing photos of our vacation last week.  I'll apologize now because there were so many beautiful, fun pics to choose from I had a really hard time narrowing it down.  This was our first vacation with just the four of us and I relished every moment.  I actually had tears when we had to leave and my wonderful husband said, "let's come for 2 weeks next year."  I'm SO on that!

Favorite places in Edgartown:

Among the Flowers Cafe

Edgartown Harbor behind the Atlantic Restaurant

 Home near Fuller Street Beach

 Espresso Love Cafe

Captain's House on North Water Street

 The "Shanty"

Home on South Water Street

The "Vineyard" is such a magical place you almost feel like you're in a different country.  It's small and quaint, but not too small.  Each morning was a run down to the harbor, up to the Harborview Hotel and back to Main Street.  We would have coffee and croissants at Espresso Love, and stroll back to the harbor.  I love just walking the brick paved sidewalks, looking at all the beautiful gardens and houses.  The weather was gorgeous, in the mid 70s each day so of course the beach was in order.  Our nights were family dinners at an Edgartown restaurant (the Shanty being a favorite) or cooking fresh seafood at the house.  Needless to say in one word - relaxing!

I highly recommend visiting the Vineyard if you ever have the chance.  I hope where ever you are vacationing this summer, it's full of fun, relaxation, and love!  Thanks for stopping by have a wonderful day!

  4. These are lovely pictures. I live south of Boston and we've never been to the Vineyard. Where did you stay if I may ask. I'm looking for first hand recommendations. we went to the cape a few years ago and I wasn't impressed with the house we stayed in...Thanks

    1. Hi K,
We rented a house through Lighthouse Properties. I've also used SandcastleMV.com. Both are great. I like Lighthouses website a little better as you can really narrow down what you're looking for. You could talk to Rhea at Lighthouse and Beth at Sandcastle. Totally recommend going, it's so relaxing. We usually stay in Edgartown in-town as it's so great to walk to beaches and in-town for shopping & restaurants :) Good luck!

  5. What a beautiful family you have! And your vacation photos look incredible! I want to move into that neighborhood! I completely relate to the part about tearing up when you had to leave. It's so hard to get back to the daily grind after a fabulous vacation. Welcome back!
