Fear can be crippling. It can be fear of the unknown, fear of what might happen, fear because you're living in a hardship. Fear can surface any time, in any type of circumstance. Fear can be a little whisper or a loud cry. I've experienced it many times in my life growing up and as a young adult. It's only been the last 7 years that I have learned to what do when I'm filled with fear. 7 years ago I had the biggest fear of my life. Was I going to be able to have any children? While I am not going to go into those details (you can read that
HERE) I will share that I learned how to deal with fear during that time and shortly after I had my twins. It struck me at a strange time. We were sleep training our twins (the Ferber method) and our doula was helping out. She had given me some time to be alone, away from the poor crying babies, so I decided to work out and clear my mind. As I ran on the treadmill I began giving myself a "pep" talk and praying. I suddenly realized that all the fear that I had had, will have comes from Satan. He wants me to be afraid, to question, to doubt. Will I let him? As I ran hard and fast, I determined, I will not let Satan win. I know that might sound hokey or crazy. But it's a good God vs a terrible Satan. He is the father of lies. He is the little whisper of lies and fear in your ear. Will you listen to him? Don't. God is bigger, He is greater, He is stronger, He wins. God loves you and wants the best for you. When I feel fear creeping in I pray. God always hears my prayers and I when I pray for peace He lovingly answers me every time. Below are 3 of my favorite Bible verses that I keep close to my heart:
Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition present your requests to God. And the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for
I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Oh yes, fear is in the heart of everything when someone doesn't go ahead in life! Big centers are full of fear, fear of being hit by cars when crossing the street, fear of being robbed, fear of so many other things. I am glad you overcame your fear and that you now live happily with your twins, such a blessing! I thank myself for the blessing wishes and I wish you too, a lovely day!

It's a challenge to take a moment and look at your fear from the outside to put be able to put things in perspective and have all the strength you can get to fight fear. Thank you for sharing!
