#NSale Dressing Room Story

This dress!  Ahhh... gorgeousness.  This is a bodycon dress so it fits like a glove :)  Topshop is known for running on the smaller size and this dress is no exception.  I'm typically a 2 regular, 4 petite, and this dress is an 8.  The color is a beautiful dark teal color with very faint black lines.  As you can see it has cut outs along the shoulders.  This could be worn to work with a classic blazer and then out on the town, with this wine clutch, for dinner!

Cashmere.  I fell in love years ago :)  I have invested in more cashmere as my skin has gotten more sensitive to wool over the years.  This Halogen cashmere is super soft and affordable.  This sweater has a great cut, I like that it's a little longer.  It has great detail in the back with a zipper!  I'm wearing an XS.

This Topshop dress is the first thing I pulled off the rack.  It's simple but a classic and I love the dark gray color.  Shirtdresses are great because they can be worn now and later.  I love the long cardi trend and I think it would look great with this dress as the weather turns cooler.  Fringe bags are so fun and this years spring/summer trend will continue through the fall (I'm happy to say).  Who doesn't need a little fringe in their life?  :)

Don't Jack and Ella look amused?  HAHA! :)

This was one of the last things I tried on.  My nuggets were spastic!  I really loved this shirt, but my only negative is that the arms were a little tight on me.  I have more muscular arms.  But the detail of the jewels, not to flashy and a little edgy, was great!

I love the T-strap and all the gorgeous colors.  I did not try any one, but had to share the snap!  They seem to be great quality as well.

This is a beautiful skirt.  The piping detail on the side brings a lengthing linear look and how about this pattern?  You can't go wrong with the classic black and white, but the "flowers" are iconic looking.  I wanted to pair it with another pattern and found this Foxcroft shirt.  The fabric is very soft and light weight.  Perfect for now and to layer under a sweater for fall.  I'm wearing both a size 2 in the skirt and shirt.

Pretty eye candy :)  The blush color is simply divine!  But I love that it comes in neutral colors that span any trend changes.

 Vince Camuto wrap

I'm so happy to see that wraps and capes are back this season!  It's always been a favorite of mine.  This wrap was stunning in person.  It was a good weight without being too bulky.

I saved the best for last.  You know I'm a denim girl.  These jeans were comfortable in all the right places.  Since I'm just 5'1" I would need to get them hemmed.  Lucky for me Nordstrom has a wonderful alternations group :)  This. Jacket.  Can you dig it?  HA - yes, I just said that.  Forest green is on trend this season and this jacket is beyond gorgeous!

Other personal items: J Brand jeans  ||  Nordstrom earrings  ||  Kate Spade iPhone case  ||  Julie Vos ring

So this was a sneak peek into my dressing room yesterday and all the adventures with my nuggets.  They were so good for me and a little crazy, but nothing a little candy couldn't cure :) #candymakesitbetter

Don't forget to check out all my favorites in "Lulu's Picks" on my sidebar.  I'll be updating the page throughout the sale!

So did you make any purchases the first day of the #NSale?  I'd love to hear about them!
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Thank you! I loved that skirt but didn't end up purchasing because I'm just not sure I'd wear it that much since I'm not working in an office anymore! :) So gorgeous though and flattering!

    1. Haha! I know right? I think everyone in Nordstrom probably thought I was nuts for bringing them with me. No sitter available - what's a girl to do? I can't miss out! The Halogen flats did make it into my closet :) The shirt was a little tight around the arms for me but I do not have thin arms.. :( Thanks for stopping by!

  6. The dress is so pretty, in the UK a 6 = 0 and an 8 = 2 I believe :)

    1. I think you're right on the sizing that it should be that way. Nordstrom has it just a size down from our US sizing, but I always find it's 2 sizes off! :) Thanks for stopping by Lindsay!
