Good Monday to you! I'm getting this post out a little late today since the Mr. and I are out on the west coast. I was burned out from travel, time change, and just needed a break yesterday. Hence working feverishly to get this out this morning (or afternoon if you're on the east coast).
It's funny that I'm so bundled up in these photos because it is very warm here. We're having a good time and I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with myself since my husband is in a conference for the next 2 days! No kids, no chores? What's a girl to do? I might be twiddling my thumbs a bit! You can follow me along and all my thumb twiddling on Snapchat: simplylulustyle :)
Anyway, on to this unbelievably soft and comfy cape/wrap/poncho (whatever you want to call it). Seriously something to wrap yourself up in when the weather starts to cool off. Capes are definitely a fall must have for me and you can read more about my must haves for fall here.
And let's talk about these boots. I saw them in the Nordstrom sale (in a different color) and decided to pass, for some crazy reason. But they just kept calling my name - you know that feeling? So I went back and of course my size was out so I ordered the next size up hoping they would fit. After I ordered them I went to the Sorel website and found this charcoal color (they also carry them in brown, black, and khaki) and knew I wanted to get them instead. So after a quick return, these came and I've already worn them half a dozen times. They are incredibly comfortable and I love that there is a little wedge so this vertically challenged girl can get some height! I also think this color is fabulous because it's almost tri toned with the gray, charcoal, and taupe colors. They will get a lot of wear this year!
