I used to be a Corporate Trainer BC kids. When we'd create a new program our moto was KISS (Keep It Simple Silly). I've been working on doing that with my parties because who wants to spend hours preparing? Who HAS hours to prepare for a party? Today I'm sharing with you my tips for a KISS Valentine's Day party.
Valentine's Day often gets overlooked in our family. With my birthday being February 16th and our wedding anniversary February 11th, Valentine's Day is somewhat muddled in the middle. But since having kids they have been dying to have a Valentine's Day party. A simple way to send invitations out to any party is to use Paperless Post! Whether you want to make your own Valentine's day party invite or make your own Baby Shower invite, Paperless Post has you covered.
Paperless Post can help you create online and paper stationery, invitations and cards that reflect your personal style. With hundreds of customizable designs it's a fun and easy way to help you create that perfect party or mark a milestone in your life. Paperless Post launched in 2009 and to date users have sent over 85 million cards!
I just love this website! Their cards and stationery are beautiful. They collaborate with many amazing designers including Kate Spade and the Rifle Paper Co.
This table scape I created was under $50 :) I wanted something colorful and fun, fit for both kids and adults alike. Target has some amazing pieces for Valentine's Day. I found the cutest decorations there including the heart gift bags, red cake stands and the X & O sign. I painted the X & O myself with this paint.
These red napkins were a steal at HomeGoods and I used part of them for just the Valentine's Day table scape. As a kid I used to go antiquing with my mom a lot. A friend and I have started these outings again going antiquing and to salvage stores. There are some quite interesting things when you go antiquing! But I found these pale pink glasses and candy tray and thought they would be perfect for my Valentine's Day table scape. You can also find unique items for every entertaining need on Etsy :)
I'm so excited to host a Valentine's Day party and create my invitations through Paperless Post. I'm thinking about this invitation. Do you like it? I think it goes well with my pink and red theme. Today I'm giving away to one lucky reader 1,000 coins to Paperless Post so you can create your own invitation! Enter through the Rafflecopter below :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day and weekend.
