Happy Thursday all!  Today I'm bringing you a special home decor post.  If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen our new house, some of the rooms that I'm renovating/decorating and recently some furniture I'm refinishing.  Since moving here I've been introduced to Annie Sloan paint.  Guys this stuff is AHmazing!  I feel like I'm a little behind in the amazingness of this paint!

I'm fortunate to live very close to a cute little shop, The Backdoor Furnishings, is one of 2 Annie Sloan paint providers in the Pittsburgh area.  And when I say cute, goodness gals, I walked into this store and was in heaven :)  The owner is so friendly and wonderfully educated in Annie Sloan paint.   Annie Sloan paint is a special paint that needs to applied in the correct way to be effective and beautiful.  At The Backdoor Furnishings they provide classes!  You can learn how to use the paint in their "Ready, Set, Paint" class.  Then you can learn amazing waxing techniques in "Waxing Doesn't have to Hurt" class.  I've taken both and found them to be very educational and gets you super excited to start your project!  To find out when her next classes are check out The Backdoor Furnishing's website and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

The Backdoor not only sells Annie Sloan paint, but you can check out other eclectic finds like vintage furniture, cabinet hardware, fabrics and more.  If you live in the Pittsburgh area you must go to The Backdoor.  Ask for Laura and tell her Lulu sent you :)

Check out my transformations below.  You can always see more on my Instagram and Snapchat (simplylulustyle).
