Step 1: Bottoms - I tend to gravitate towards jeans in the winter. They are warm and comfy (as long as they have some stretch to them) and easy!
Step 2: Tops - My go to tops are fairly thin for layering. During this time of year, when the chill is in the air but you're running here, there and everywhere, you're cold, then hot, then cold... you understand. Layering - what an awesome trend! Create layers by using thin fabrics, jackets, blazers, vests, and/or sweaters. Make things even more interesting and fabulous by using different length tops.
(I'm such a dork, but I'm having fun!)
Step 3: Shoes! Can't go barefoot right? Depending on where I'm going that day I may go for va,va voom, or cozy comfy. Cozy comfy does not mean frumpy!
Step 4: Accessorize - Think scarves, jewelry, hats, gloves, bags. I tend to stick to 8-10 accessories. Anything more than that and you might look like the guy on the corner selling "Rolexes"....
Finished look....
top, TJ Maxx (similar here) | sweater, Loft | jacket, Gap (old, similar here) | jeans, Old Navy | shoes, Target | watch, Michael Kors | bracelets, Loren Hope, Simply Lulu Design | snaps, me (sorry for the fuzz)
This is really what I'm wearing today. If I had paparazzi following me around you would see it posted on TMZ...
So there you have it. 4 steps in 5 minutes - can you handle the mission? I think so!
Don't forget! Today is the LAST day to enter the STELLA & DOT GIVEAWAY! Entry Rules here.
