So even though it's technically spring, winter has decided to pick a fight! I'm told we're getting snow today, but I don't believe it. The forecasters have been wrong so far and I'm betting they'll be wrong again. Since March is also going out like a lion I decided to dress the part. Today I'm sporting the ever so popular black and white with my fantastically furry vest (last seen here). I topped off this style with my fab Hobo clutch and Tarahi heels (seen here). I'll be stylish, warm, and cozy... if the snow decides to come!
Linking up with Mode Monday, DC in Style & Peacoats & Plaid today.
Mama Said Monday
When people hear that I have twins, they often will say, "how do you do it?!" Well? It's all I've ever known, so I just do it (as Nike would say). One thing that I learned early on and will continue to do, is to teach my kids to be independent. I am one person, they are two, crazy and energetic kids. The nuggets can run circles around me! I taught them early to feed themselves, dress themselves, put shoes & coats on. The things that I spend the most energy on, they now spend their energy on it! Right now they are learning to put on their own socks (which can be confusing to a 4 year old) and zip up their coats. I plan to continue to do teach them independence, so that as they become young adults they will have the confidence to succeed in whatever they do.
Happy Monday!
I love this elegant look!
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear how you teach and educate your children to become independent and responsible.
