Blue has to be my favorite color.  I know, weird, I'm a girl aaand I'm very girlie.  My favorite color should be pink right?  Nope.  Much to the dismay of my four year old daughter.  I LOVE the color of this shirt so much I have a sweater in the same color (see posts here & here).  This simple outfit is pulled together with some fab accessories: my yellow clutch & some beautiful coral pumps.  Because these two items are so colorful I kept the necklace the same color as the shirt.  Too many colors and you might look like a circus!

Mama Said Monday

Today I'm going to share some funny stories since I don't want Mama Said Monday to be so heavy all the time. Our nuggets say and do hilarious things all the time.  I try to write them down - either in my notebook or mostly my phone so I can remember them (especially when I'm having an "in the dumps" mommy moment).

This is my story of Jack.  He loves breakfast and it's his biggest meal of the day.  After eating 2 pieces of cinnamon toast I ask him if he would like some pancakes.  His sweet answer:

"Yes, please m'lady!"

One day the three of us were having lunch after preschool.  Ella, who constantly fidgets when she eats, stood up and said, "Mama, are you done growing?"

Me: "Yep, I'm done."

Ella: "Is Daddy all done growing?"

Me: "Yep, Daddy's done too."

Ella: "Yeah, he's old!"

Me... chuckling, "Yes, he IS old!"
