I did a post (HERE) a few weeks ago on transforming your winter wardrobe. Right now I have officially stopped buying pieces for winter. Although I've found some phenomenal pieces on sale that I can't wait to post, I'm saving my pretty pennies for spring purchases.

This Madewell sweater has been a great staple for me. I've worn it going out in NYC, here on Instagram, and another day out of shopping with my hubs after Christmas HERE, and to the movies, again on Instagram. Wearing pieces like this and mixing it up with a vest or fur can transform a look. Choose versatile sweaters or shirts in your wardrobe and turn 1 piece into endless wearable outfits. The best pieces are neutrals because they are easy to layer and style. I have several favorites below in the look book! Over the next few weeks I'll be snapping some more "transformed" pieces!

We're in for a change in the Lulu household. My husband got a new job and will be working from home! It's been a long journey over the last 2 years. He's been offered positions everywhere from Ohio to Colorado, but nothing seemed the right fit. So we're very excited this opportunity is in Philadelphia!

I love how you layered the denim shirt with the sweater and that amazing vest. I wish you all the best with your husband's new job. I can very much relate to the journey until you find the right fit. Have a wonderful week!

Love the fur vest as it really adds amazing texture to your outfit. I was looking at faux fur vest at an online UK retailer and ugh, the shipping was outrageous. You'd think I could find one in the US, but noo .. oh, well .. better luck for me next year.

Sigh, isn't that how it always goes...you have the best intentions to reuse clothes, but then you hit the stores and find something irresistible. Oh well, you look really classy and cute!
