Happy Monday!  I hope you had a nice weekend.  The Mr. and I spent some time in the city this weekend celebrating the "Triple Threat".  Our anniversary, Valentine's Day, and my birthday are all within 5 days!  He likes to say it's a whammy, but really, how easy can you get?  He doesn't have to remember to get 3 gifts... just buy one BIG one!  :)

This HBrand cape really took my eye on Shopbop first.  I was so disappointed when it sold out before I could scoop it up.  But as my friends will tell you I have a knack for finding anything on the Internet.  You want it?  I can usually find it.  HBrand is a brand based in Australia with the most gorgeous pieces.  I purchased this and it arrived in 3 days!  I knew it was what I wanted to wear for our special dinner.  Between this cashmere turtleneck (on sale 50% off) and the fur I was toasty warm for our 3 block walk from the Hotel Monaco to Amada.  Amada, owned by Iron Chef Garces, didn't disappoint.  The Mr. and I are complete foodies and the tapas restaurant is the perfect place to try many different bites of food.  My recommendations?  The meats and cheese selections are scrumptions.  Among the 5 tapas we ordered, the Ensalada De Jamon, Piquillos Rellenos, and Costillas De Ternera are my favorites.  Not to forget the Sangria is amazing.  Although I usually prefer red wine, I particularly love the white.  I highly recommend a visit to Amada and Old City.
