This fall adventure took us to a farm (demonstration farm). It's beautiful and picturesque; perfect for family portraits. Jack and Ella love to see the goats and other animals, and climb on all the tractors. As you can see in the pictures I'm wearing some crazy pointy toed boots. Since having foot surgery 2 years ago, I can't walk forever in shoes/boots like these. My plan was to take the pictures and then change into my oh so comfy Uggs. However, being the not so perfect mom I am.... I forgot the Uggs. So the romping around with the nuggets to the lake did not happen (ouchy face...). I try to take little moments like this day and cement them in my head. They will not be little forever (as people always like to remind me), and their little faces, voices and "sayings" are just too cute.
Silly saying today, Ella "Momma, if I eat too much chicken I'll turn into a chicken!"

simply yours, Lulu XO
Oh my gosh - you're little ones are so adorable! And what great photos...that top one is one to frame.
ReplyDeletebtw, love your idea of putting a date on your mascara. I always play the guessing game and I'm pretty sure I'm way off each time! lol!

Thanks Marion! I have so enjoyed reading your blog. I'm kind of a planner/organization freak, this is the reason for the date on the mascara. If I hadn't been such a planner b/f the twins, it certainly would have changed me in a heartbeat! All the best with the rest of your pregnancy!
